It's simple and yet very effective in getting one through how meditation works physically, what are the obstacles, and how to overcome them, and, most importantly, how to get started and stick with it. It certainly worked to get me back to sitting. I learnt a bit about meditation previously but this book was really good summarizing the techniques, how to establish an ongoing meditation practice. I can only recommend it.
