Cute, witty, not basic enough for the newest learner. Funny for parents for the 100 or so words it has.
Oliver Jeffers has such a talent for combining adorably simple drawings with books that are great for educators! This book is especially helpful for teaching about antonyms to all ages. I love this book!
Adorable book about opposites
No problem
It's hysterical. I adore Oliver Jeffers' wit. It's simple but enjoyable to read. Both my eighteen-month old and my four-year old like reading it. And it truly teaches opposites.
Pure Delight!
Awesome!
I've been reading What's the Opposite to my five year old, and she loves it. She gets the humor in Jeffers's books and likes his unique way of teaching concepts. While this book isn't quite as quirky as None the Number, it is still a hit in our house. We've learned opposites like up and down, half full and half empty, and even some less obvious ones like lucky and unlucky. This is a wonderful book if you are looking for books on opposites or good books that teach concepts, especially if you appreciate a humorous twist. I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
